Established in 2005, our goal is to delicately photograph each wedding with a mindfulness that is honest, respectful, and deliberate. We provide the highest quality service to clients who value the art of photography and the experiences that comes along with creating it. Our style of wedding photography is fine art documentary photojournalism in digital photography format. This unique blend provides an artistic flavor and a true sense of the story and personalities. Available for, but not limited to, family and children portraits, special events, commercial, real estate and of course wedding photography. We carry an extensive list of fine art products and we’re always willing to try something new.

Jason was born and raised in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA. He began his photography career in 1992 enlisting in the Navy as a photographer. His tours have taken him to several countries with work varying from photo lab dark room technician, digital imagery specialist, intelligence and reconnaissance, photojournalist and combat photographer. After serving at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington DC, Jason was accepted into Syracuse University’s Advanced Military Photojournalism program at Newhouse School of Communications in 1999. He then went on to work as a combat photographer at Combat Camera in Norfolk, VA where he completed countless missions in the Gulf, Africa and Vieques Island.
After ten years of military service, Jason turned his artistic eye towards wedding photography and portraiture. Since then, he has shot hundreds of events and weddings in the VA, MD, Washington DC metro area and all over the United States. Jason sums up his style by, “viewing the world’s beauty in the simplest form… truth. A person or a thing’s true state is so beautiful it can sometimes only be seen with certain eyes. I identify with this beauty and do not alter it’s original state, revealing the true nature.”
Tammy was born in Seoul, South Korea and spent her childhood in Japan, Jacksonville, North Carolina and Virginia Beach, Virginia.
While serving as a US Army nuclear-biological-chemical specialist in Germany, she bought a point-and-shoot film camera and began documenting the goings-on around her. From training missions in the field to life in the barracks, Tammy fell in love with photographing her comrades. She began pursuing photography in 2002.
Tammy has an unconventional approach of blending documentary, fine art, and lifestyle into her work. Paired with an appreciation and understanding of light, balance, and emotion, she will offer an artistically delicate and timeless perspective to your event or vision.
Tammy’s other loves and fascinations include trail running, Kundalini yoga, Muay Thai and gardening.

Keith B. - Tammy & Jason,
I must say it was a pleasure meeting both of you at the Waffle House in Smyrna, GA, right before the NFC CHampionship game ATL vs. San Fran.
The both of you were like a breathe of fresh air in Charlottesville, VA one of my favorite places. Your website is awesome. I must say that I have met a lot of photographers (being an amateur myself), but your passion for people and your work was nothing short of extraordinary. You gave my new inspiration. Let’s stay in touch.2013/01/20 – 22:12

Emily G - Tammy and Jason,
I have to say working with you guys was almost the best part of my wedding weekend. (I suppose marrying Aaron was better, but it’s a close race).
Your work is so beautiful and observant and you guys are super easy to work with. I felt like you were family by the end. I almost wish I could get married again, just to hang out with you guys!
I’m sure I’ll call you up again for something I just don’t know what it is yet….
Thank you.

Melissa - Jason and Tammy,
My husband, Brian and I met Jason this past Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Rotunda at UVA. I was the one that was drooling over his camera equipment. Jason, I want to thank you for taking the time to talk to us. I have found in my hobby, that a majority of the time, professional photographers do not have the time or the presence to talk to the “low man” on the totem pole. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to us, even though I was intimidated by your camera equipment.
Thanks!
