This was a rare occasion where Jason and I didn’t meet the bride and groom in person until the day of the wedding. When we arrived at the Westin in Ballston, we knocked on the door of the bridal suite, and were greeted by Brooke, her sister and bridesmaids like we’ve been friends since preschool. I think that would best describe the entire day. Every single moment celebrated, and everyone’s eyes brimming with love and gratitude.
I asked Brooke months earlier to tell us what she envisioned her ideal wedding would be like, and she stated, “We are envisioning the wedding to be very classy but fun. We want people to really enjoy themselves. Ideally, there would be non-stop dancing because the band is going to knock people’s socks off.” Jason and I can both verify that socks were knocked off, rugs were cut and there was non stop dancing. The Winn Brothers Band was oh so hot. The hottest moment of the night; however, was when Brooke got up on stage with the Winn Brothers Band and sang Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes’ song, The Time of My Life. Brooke was absolutely amazing.
