What a magical weekend for Danielle and Rob, as they exchanged their nuptials under blissful skies and amongst their family and friends. In the spirit of this Memorial holiday weekend, Jason and I thought it would be fitting to share this particular wedding weekend with you.
Bob and Jason go way back, nearly twenty years when they were both stationed at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington DC. Fast forward to this past April, Jason and I had the privilege of photographing Bob and his fiance Julie’s wedding weekend at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Their guests included an intimate gathering of just their family. This weekend felt like a low key, relaxing vacation getaway. Manteo truly is a remarkable place.
To start things off, here are snapshots of Bob and Julie’s rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Their rehearsal and wedding celebration took place at the White Doe Inn, where Jason and I were fortunate enough to stay for the weekend. It was just a short walk to get to the rehearsal dinner. After an amazing meal at The 1587 Restaurant, everyone took a stroll through Manteo’s little downtown district. First Fridays was in full swing, and it was just a perfect evening.
