Many times when I was a little girl, I’d dream and wonder about the person I would fall in love with and marry someday.  How long in time would we wait before our paths crossed, and where would we meet? Ah, the mysteries of love; It was so fun to dream!

The best thing about every wedding is the fact that two soul mates have found each other. They, along with their friends and family, can at last rejoice and go living the rest of their lives together. That thought alone will bring me to tears.

When it comes to love, I like believing in destiny.

Noah and Nora were married at Ash Lawn-Highland on a surprisingly brisk April day. The colors of the grey, turbulent sky loomed over green grass, and together they were gorgeous. Adding in Nora with her custom Wai-Ching gown and red Fluevogs, and you had nothing less than awesome. Virginia Moore officiated a lovely ceremony that included hand fast and breaking of a glass underneath a chuppah canopy.

Can I just say that Harvest Moon Catering is amazing?

Nora’s brother-in-law and his band, the Free Union Band played the night away. It started to rain right before the reception ended, and the guests lit and released sky fire chinese lanterns up into the dark sky. It was a beautiful sight to see (check out the last shot)!

Jason and I enjoyed a fun-filled day with Ashish and Bhavika, who are going to be celebrating their three day Indian wedding this summer! Our day started with lunch at Mie n Yu restaurant in Georgetown, which is where Ashish took Bhavika for dinner their one year anniversary together. Next, we all took a walk down by the canals, and then hopped into the car to make our way towards the Hotel W. After a quick wardrobe change, we grabbed a couple of neat night shots of Ashish and Bhavika downtown. Our day concluded with tasty beverages back at Hotel W.
