David and Sarah’s wedding felt like a magical fairy tale to me. A lot of it had to do with how green and lush Morven Park was, even more so with the rain. Every time I saw Sarah walking around in her gown, her hands hitching up the bottom which revealed her angelic pumps, I couldn’t help but envision Mia Sara in Legend in the back of my mind.

There were alot of firsts for me and Jason at this wedding: this was the first time we photographed a wedding where there were groomsmaids, bridesmen and a Man of Honor. Also, the first time a turtle was the honorary ring bearer!

David and his honorary ring bearer, Ting-Ting the turtle!

Knuckle-flipper… my day was totally made when I got to touch and pet Ting-Ting. He’s the sweetest!

Okay, taking a moment here to gush a little over how awesome it was to work with young artist and cinematographer Josh Gooden and his dad. Both so incredibly talented, artistic and passionate about their work.

Yes, there was also karaoke! Sarah and David kicked karaoke time off with “I Believe In a Thing Called Love,” and quite good I must add!

I’m a week overdue here.  Last Wednesday, while Jason and I were in Virginia Beach documenting a 3-day Indian wedding, photos from Chris and Nadia’s engagement shoot appeared on Stephanie Marie’s Fête Blog. Thank you so much, Stephanie, AND congratulations to you for getting hitched!!! I can only imagine that your wedding was an amazing and unforgettable one!
